Name that Bar

A competition has been launched this month in conjunction with Birmingham Forward and Birmingham Future inviting the city’s professionals to name a new bar set to open in Birmingham’s newest office building – Eleven Brindleyplace.  The winner will be announced at Birmingham Future’s AGM on  30th July.  For further information, please click here.

Tweeting Power50 2009

Graduate Apprentice 2008/09

Graduate Apprentice, the brainchild of Urban, has grown since its inception in 2006. We are delighted to see the third Apprentice, Mayur Murali, about to embark on his twelve month placement within Birmingham’s professional services community. The University of Warwick Biological Sciences graduate will be sampling a diverse range of work from Deloitte, LMM and VC Consulting from September. Please click here for more information.

Power50 2008

Urban worked with Birmingham Future alongside Birmingham Post for the second year in drawing up this year’s Power50. A barometer of where the true power and influence lies in the City, the 2008 edition was unveiled as part of Birmingham Future’s AGM last Thursday 17th July 2008. It was fantastic to see many of the City’s movers and shakers at the event to see where they ranked. Click here to join in the debate on Power50.
