Lunar Society Low Carbon Lecture pulls in 150
Since being asked to help raise the profile for the Annual Boulton and Watt Lecture, Urban has assisted the Lunar Society in generating interest for the Lecture and, combined with ongoing efforts by Aston University, over 150 delegates are now expected to attend the Sustainable Technologies Lecture given by Aston University Vice-Chancellor, Professor Julia King. 2009 marks the Bicentenary of the death of one of the world’s most innovative early industrialists, Matthew Boulton. This year’s Lunar Society Annual Lecture, given in the name of Boulton and his fellow pioneer, James Watt, therefore has particular significance.
