A New Vision of Gateshead

Gateshead Council announced a brand new vision for the town centre in December 2008. In a bid to regenerate and develop the heart of Gateshead, cabinet members have endorsed the ambitious 20-year programme. Urban was part of the consultancy team that produced The Gateshead Centre Regeneration Delivery Strategy that will now be used as the blueprint for redeveloping the heart of Gateshead. Gateshead Centre Vision

Gateshead Council and ONE NorthEast has unveiled ambitious plans for the development of Gateshead Centre. A proposed Vision and Big Ideas were revealed last week as part of a consultation exercise which Urban is helping to coordinate as part of a Regeneration Delivery Strategy project led by BDP.
