Warwick Reaches London’s skies

With London BT Tower the setting, the launch of The University of Warwick’s A Case for Support reached new levels last week.  Urban project managed the event, from concept through to speechwriting, branding and collateral.  For some photos of the evening, please click here.

Warwick Global Impact

The University of Warwick, one of Urban’s founding clients, is launching its A Case for Support at the top of the BT Tower in London on Thursday 14th May 2009.  The aim of the evening is to share the University’s vision to become firmly registered in the top 50 of world universities by 2015 and the opportunities for philathropic investment to help deal with some of the world’s most pressing problems.  Urban has been working closely with the University’s Development and Alumni Relations Office providing project managment.  Support included commissioning the opening video from Urban Associate Quench which you can see here.

Rallying for the Auto Sector

West Midlands Auto Industry Summit

Urban project managed the Auto Industry Summit, which took place on Tuesday 3rd January at the ICC Birmingham, as part of Birmingham Post campaign to save Jaguar Land Rover.  Sponsored by Marketing Birmingham, Birmingham Chamber of Commerce & Industry, BPM Media, Birmingham City Council and the NEC Group, near;y 200 delegates attended the event despite snowy weather conditions.  A ten point communique was created and handed to Lord Mandelson on Thursday 5th February as a result of lively discussions at the Summit.  For further information, please click here.

Digital Media Conference

Urban has been working closely with the Birmingham Science City and Maverick Television to produce a Digital Media Conference to mark the launch of the IPTV channel West Midlands based SMEs were invited to attend the conference, where Adam Rutherford, Jon Salkeld and Anthony Lilley spoke of the need for businesses to harness the power of the digital.
