Birmingham’s Biggest Tweeters
There are a number of tools around for calculating the popularity and impact of particular twitter feeds. As a consultancy interested in helping clients to influence and engage – rather than simply promote – we were struck by TweetLevel which has been developed by Edelman, a leading PR agency (one day, people will use tools developed by Urban but we’ll live with drawing on the greater resources of more established agencies for now!).
Urban Client Services Executive
Natalie Chiang, has recently been promoted to the position of Client Services Executive. Natalie joined Urban Communications in 2007 as a Graduate Trainee and then Client Services Assistant following her graduation from Cardiff University.
New Client
Rosetta Life, which offers relief to terminally ill people by providing a creative service which enables them to document their lives, has appointed Urban to provide public relations support to their activities within the West Midlands region.
Intelligent Urban

Bucking the Trend
Urban Communications welcomes in 2009 with a new team member on board. Our new Account Director, Jo Dain, joins Urban at a pivotal moment in theconsultancy’s development. Jo will lead day-to-day delivery of client service and comes with a great track record, having previously led accounts with the likes of BP and Asda.
Christmas is Here!
Christmas decorations have been put up on Urban’s online headquarters to welcome in the festive season. Even the old urban landscape has received a sprinkle of Christmas magic.
